James started his career in the 1990's in New York City in television and regional theatre. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 working steadily as an actor and filmmaker before he relocated during Covid-19 to Melbourne, Australia at the end of 2020. As a career actor and director, he created the Hollywood Actor Lab, a studio for actors where he has provided training and career guidance to hundreds of actors with classes, filmmaking and photography. In Australia he continues a three decades long acting career in film, television, commercials, print modelling and voice overs.
